I don't like how it's all square, I get that it's supposed to look like a comicbook though. Also, shouldn't a comicbook be a little less wide?

B: It's not a comic book cover. It's wider because it's a dimestore detective pulp magazine. |

i was gonna say you stole this from "Noir is french for Black," but then i noticed that that is also your design. even so, using an old design in a new one, not so good.

This is a really vintage look and the colors blend well together. If you drew this, you deserve some major props. I personally don't think I'd buy it though.

Great design. Of course it is vintage pulp style and that makes perfect sense to have in a square. I see nothing wrong with using elements from your former works, good design is good design .

i know its supposed to be the whole comic/detective magazine and stuff but I just never really liked the rectangular blocks of graphic on my shirts. I love the illustration though, and I loved the the first one with just the detective. actually, if you just made the edges less crisp, then i would buy it.

i really really really like this shirt.
i like the incredibly well styled art and hope it gets printed. i notice it is scuffed around the edges. maybe make a few cutouts that make it look like its been worn even more and that would also help get rid of some of the blockiness people are complaining about. great job man. $5! |

I love this shirt. I completely dig the old style comic book thing you have going on and the squareness works for me. I mean, it couldn't be round or anything, because then it wouldn't be a comic book, right?

I think I'd like it better if the corners were frayed and worn like the rest of the book. I don't think it should have perfect edges but ratty everywhere else.

You should terminate the design without using sharp edges. If you did, it would still come across as a cover without the hard edges, and it would have received my $5. |

Great $ 5... ^yeah i thought it might look kinda cool tilted at an angle like it was just thrown on the shirt, but then I decided I liked the kind of naive(for lack of a better word) aesthetic of the straight forward, rectangle print

Just rotate it slightly, so it's not so tacked on looking. As it stands, it kinda looks like someone stuck a really sweet sticker on your shirt. |
