You cant expect everyone who submits a shirt to know the designs of ever shirt ever made. I like this a lot on the blue. And even if there arent any airports in antarctica I think it should still be added to the map. I give it a $5 even with the missing continent.

This shirt is a drawing of airplane routes. Something just like it is in the magazine in the pouch in front of where you sit on pretty much every airplane in the world: a map with a line on it for every flight that the airline flies. If you see that on two different shirts, it's just not a very original idea, but nobody is copying anything. What a dummy you are. |

Just because this resembles a t-shirt your friend found at urban outfitters does not mean that the creator copied that shirt design. It simply means that he came up with a similar idea. One thing you could have said that would have been true is "This is a pretty common image, this airline route map idea. I have seen it on shirts before. I'm not sure this is original enough to make a good threadless print, no matter how good you drew it."

You can go to the photography store and tell the guy there that you are thinking of buying a camera and you want to test one out. Then you can take the picture and bring it home and put it on the web.
Or you can go find a friend who has a digital camera and get them to take the picture. Or you can mail your friends shirt to someone on threadless who can take the picture. |

I told you the reason why it looks almost the same as the other shirt: it's because it has a map, and latitiude and longitude lines, and then curves connecting towns. Any shirt with this idea would look just like that.
Does your buddy's shirt have planes flying to the north coast of Alaska? Or to two differnt places in Greenland? Or to no-where in France? Those facts would show you that this is not a copy, if you could look hard at your buddy's shirt (even though we know you made it up). |

You can go there and do a search of how the web used to look, and see it from years past. You can go look at the urban outfitters sites from before. I like the blue one and the orange one, because the land is darker than the ocean and you can tell them apart. Did you think about using more differenter colors, like a blue ocean and brown land?
