mediocrityrules - its just a statement!

I like the statement, but the execution kills it. You would expect something awesome to be on a shirt with this title, I see random doodles that look like they should be on shirts at a souvenir shop in a zoo.

Following the advice on this design, I should stay home and decorate my own tshirt with craft-store stencils instead of buying this one here.

terribly executed. the statement has such potential but the drawing is just awful. snakes lizards and turtles? i dont know, it just seems randomly selected.

Voters on here failed their art classes.

The execution is GOOD, everything is cleanly rendered & has a nice color pallet. Apparently, some kids don't know what 'execution' means.

I even LIKE the random placement of the little creatures (aside from the one snowflake looking thing on the right, it'd land right on a nipple). I also LIKE the hand-done, stenciled text.

What I don't like is the phrase & creatures. They are not working togther, conceptually that is, visually it is nice.

Truthfully, the snake alone is my favorite part. Maybe reuse him for another design that reads more cohesively.

I agree with Mezo.

People throw around words they hear other people say.

Trying to sound all knowing but dont.

The design is nice. The concept is a lil lacking.

I give 4 for colors and african animal drawings.

Yes, Im just so sick an tierd of all the problems on this planet. The wars, the fighting, the troubles.... thats why I turn to art instead...

hey, i like it.... i think it's pretty and i don't like that someone would claim that it's stolen art because the same slogan is used... it's a pretty shirt, and the slogan's not super original but it's a cool design anyway and it works well.... yep... nice job, though, i agree with you.

Hippies make me sick... You have potential for much better art though.

well, if she likes to draw animals and nature-things, then that's her art. it goes with the slogan. and as for it looking like doodles, to me it says that anyone can make art, even if it just looks like simple pictures.

i like the idea, even the doodley concept...

just the fact that it's all bugsy type stuff makes me think of a souvenier tshirt from some kind of nature museum...

i don't know, i'm not trying to disparage the shirt in anyway, since the concept to me is a really cool one, but the statement and the visuals just aren't interacting like they should be. maybe if one of the animal things was half drawn and there was a pen finishing it or something like that? i know there's potential here, i just don't think it's been reached yet.
