I love the drawing, but I've never liked that sort of placement. But I gave it a four.

Originally this was my idea for the WIRED convention contest, but I missed the deadline.
The title was kind of an afterthought. Incidentally, I prefer the iron and wine cover, but the postal service original is groovy as well. Whichever placement you like is fine. |

I like the idea, but the execution feels kind of in-between to me. By that, I mean the figure looks hand drawn, but the amp he's standing on looks like it'e been done on Illustrator. The lines are perfectly straight, the circles are perfect. Most people probably don't care or even notice, but it's just one of those things that drive me kind of nuts.
Also, what with the sun (moon?) behind him, you could do some dramatic lighting stuff with additional colors and really make this composition pop. |

I was hoping someone would mention the the Iron and Wine cover, I hate to say it.. but I believe it's much better.

I love that song, It may even be my favorite, I love both versions, listen to whatever one suits my mood at the time, which is cool cuz then I can listen to it whenever
