I love the concept, but the background doesn't capture the excitement of a kid "pretending" to be a cowboy would have. Remember how excited when you got a new toy? It was like the world was radiating. How about a radiating sun behind to give more enthusiasm or expression to it...?

This is really funny. The lasso needs to be much larger and a little loose/ ropey to disspell the halo thing, though.

not sure about the stripey sunset and somehow, I look at it and am not sure if its a man or a child. Shame because theres something about it that I do really like, but the more I look the more I nitpick it. Please rework this!

I'd like it even more if the lasso wasn't so plain looking. It would look good if you added more movement to it, so it catches the eye, like a real lasso would look while being twirled. 4$
