It is a little known fact that the primary cause of the fall of the Soviet Union wasn\'t economic or political. It was, in fact, the lack of a good Soviet pancake syrup. When the Comrade Butterworth project failed to produce a product comparable to any western syrup, people were instead forced to subsist entirely on fish soup, and given the blandness of the average fish soup recipe, it was only a matter of time.
It's cute and designed well, but what's with all these communism designs lately? I thought the hilarity of the hammer-and-sickle dissolved around the advent of the Tamagotchi. Or at least at the introduction of the Furby.
Hahaha I am not sure if it would ruin it, but I laughed when I read 'Comrade Butterworth' and I think it would be more funny to have it on there, like under her or something. And it seems like it could look a little cleaner, with maybe some more...plastic blow-up toy... like it would squeek if you rubbed a carrot on it, that kind of thing.
This is actually an adaptation of a comic I did back in high school. The original had word bubbles to either side saying "COMRADE Butterworth?" and "I think my mom's been shopping at the discount grocery store again." If anyone thinks adding them back in would be an improvement, I'll do an alternate in my profile. I just decided to leave any text off the sub, because I know how much y'all hate text ;-)
Cool idea, I second putting "Comrade Butterworth" someplace on the shirt though. Don't listen to people complaining about it being old or propaganda or whatever, its a funny juxtaposition. ^_^
