everyone's doing the lightbuld/firefly thing, and this one isn't as good as the others. id like to see your opinion on which one is better than this one, to me, this one is far better than the others everything looks well done, i even like how you varied the pylons so theyre not the same on each side this design would look excellent on a shirt, great job telaine! $5 |

my biggest problem with it is the placement - centered - it kinda puts a big pale colored wedge between the boobs, and text on them
if the fly was at an angle (not perfectly perpendicular) i think it would work better otherwise a nice design |

Placement is flexible of course. It could be slightly angled or placed a bit lower on the shirt to fix the possible issue Rudra brings up. My preference is to simply lower the placement. |

it's a great idea but visually I'm afraid it lacks style. Not everyone agrees with me but something looking good comes first in art, then the ideas, concepts, etc.

not trying to come across too harsh or mean cause it is attractive, it just needs an extra something to define its look I feel. Nice on the blue though I think.

I like it a lot... I think lowering the image is better than tilting it -- the words and lines would look weird at an angle

The only distraction iswhere the Flash-Read Only diagram ends making the firefly look like he has an 'oh' mouth. See it?! And his wee feets look like sticks. Other than all of that, I can dig the design & colors are great, too! |

mezo: i think of you as a tough (but fair) critic so thank you so much for the tips. I would probably add little balls to the ends of his "toes" so he's resting on something more. The "oh" thing made me laugh ... it took me awhile to see that. Shifting the diagram end would prolly fix that illusion :) keep the good stuff coming ... just a couple hours to go! |
