Ok, I added the graph in the background so people who don\'t do infinite sums in their head or memorize electrical engineering equations can get the shirt. I did try it with the graph in black, and that seems a little too slap in the face and rather ugly. I think this color combo works very well.

I've done a maths degree, but I don't really know what's going on here.

I'd like it a little (just a LITTLE) higher on the shirt. Very clever.

haha, I think you should have "good grief" written on the back of the shirt =P

If you put "y=" in front of this math expression, you will get the Charlie Brown zig zags when graphed. Without the "y=", this expression is meaningless.
Alpha Ryan
Alpha Ryan on Aug 08 '06
Oh, I totally agree with fiddlywink46. "good grief" should be on the back. I hadn't thought of that.

nice work, great concept.

I'd put the design on the chest and add "Good Grief" to the back of the shirt, but it's very clever. If you made those changes I'd definately buy it.

I really like this idea. Put it up higher on the shirt and have "good grief" somewhere and it's a keeper.

Of course, I'm a nerd, sooooo...

herekittykitty on Aug 09 '06
Yes. Along with many other people, I say put it higher (chest-ish) and add "Good grief!" on the back of the shirt. But capitalize it right, or else I'll be really sad.

I am too dumb to get it, but I am sure it means something. I will have to get my quantum physics friend to explain it to me. $5 just for that.

I like it a lot, and disagree with those who suggest adding "good grief."

I think good grief would be a good addition.. seeing as how not everyone is math scholar. definitely a 5$

I'd buy this even though I'm not a fan of yellow shirts. It's hilarious!
The design might be moved a little higher though.. it just seems kinda awkward down there in my opinion.

I think it should be placed on the chest, at least for girls. The plcement there seems a little awkward.

While it's true that Charlie Brown's stripe travels across his shirt at about that level... well... Charlie Brown doesn't have breasts. Or ManBreasts. Therefore, the position, I feel, needs altering.

Still, the idea's great. 4 due to placement.

I actually think it should be put lower on the shirt. You know, where the zig-zag actually sits on Charlie Brown's shirt.

FRICKINAWESOME
   FRICKINAWESOME on Aug 13 '06
It's damned funny that i instantly wanted this design further up on the chest, to go more around the shirt and that the "good grief" in cursive should be on the back. then i scrolled down and noticed 800 other people who thought the same thing. So we must all be right. when these changes occur, you have my 5 dollars sir. For now, a cool 4 spots for you!

XcottCraver
XcottCraver on Aug 13 '06
That is hilarious. I like it just the way it is---so what if only other geeks get it?

For those who are wondering, the expression basically plots out as the Charlie Brown shirt curve.

The colors could change. Charlie Brown's stripe is black---tho I can see why they ended up using a different color scheme.

I'd move the equation up and make the stripe bigger

Awesome shirt but you definitely need to place the girl's one higher. It would be really unflattering down there.
Starforsaken101

I would so buy this shirt, especially if it was moved higher up on the girl's tee because I'm a girl. This shirt would suit me well lol. $5
Alpha Ryan
Alpha Ryan on Aug 15 '06
Well, hopefully threadless doesn't grade me down on the placement being to low for the ladies. I'm fine with it being moved up, but I'm not gonna resub this just for that.
