that was a good book. though i must say i didn't understand most of what was going on. I'm not sure why this picture is a catch-22 situation though. but other than that, i like it.

Its not really a catch-22...its more recursive.

I think literally the Title makes sense, but visually it doesn't communicate the Catch 22 part effectively. Maybe if the boat was sinking and the fisherman was reeling in his biggest catch ?
Clean illustration, but not too the point.

I like it, but what bird75 said makes the point very well.

Loved the book, one of the funniest satires ever. I do have to agree with the situation, though. The pun is fun, but it'd be so much stronger if there was something else going on that made the situation an actual catch-22.

bird75 is right on the money. I'd buy it if it was altered to incorporate his suggestion.

its just a shirt guys, no need to pick it apart. I've never read the book, or really plan too. I didnt design this with the book in mind. I designed it with the idea of catching the number 22. I know what the saying means. I guess i should have illustrated it differently, showing the meaning of a catch 22, but you live and learn.

I agree with bird75 and dragonflycatcher because it isn't a catch-22 the way it's protrayed. Sonofvega, I understand you are showing a play on words but it would be more effective to show an actual catch-22 while he is trying to catch the 22!!

if you made the big fish a marlin it would allude to Hemingway's Old man in the sea and catch 22 would make sense. I like it anyway
