I think it might be better to have a smaller ocean-piece running along the bottom of the shirt (4 or 5 inches tall?), cause the design is a bit big.
otherwise, I reeeaaallly like it. |

blueiedben on Jul 27 '06 agreed, but you have to think about the human form. it looks square due to the display (flat shirt form). but when worn, the natural curves of the the body (visually) tend to make squares etc distorted and not so boxy. they wrap around the chest, unless your body resembles a rubix cube. i hate plain squares too, but i do think the raw edge of this design along with the fact its mostly shirt coming through the water will help in breaking up the shape when worn on the body.

i don't like the way it's placed on the shirt, maybe along the bottom would be nicer. the picture itself is a really nice change from what i've seen going on, on this site. good work!

I LOVE the ships and waves but I think theres way too much going on on the shirt.

let me just thank the stars that no one slagged it for CutNPaste. the cool little boats make this is a good looking sub. the water too. shame it can't be an "all over" print. i personally can't wear a yellow shirt, tho.

I think I would like it better if there were less pirate ships and they just went horizontally across on the shirt. But it's still a pretty cool design, so 4'd.

What is so special about this design? The colors are awful and the design just doesn't do anything for me. If you are going to use pirates as the main object of your design, you should have made them bigger and the water less of a focal point. Also, whats up with the design being so square? It looks unfinished. I definitely wouldn't rock this shirt, but hey thats just me!

blueiedben on Aug 01 '06 im all for constructive criticism...thats what this site is built on, but i dont appreciate it from peeps that dont let there stuff be criticized back (meaning they have a profile that is unvisible). why not allow your designs (what you have done) to be seen, instead of just bashing others, ill get back to cutting and pasting now...for your information, some of the coolest shirts i own where bought for 50 cents, thanks for the compliment.
