I figure when the drug companies take over, we will all have dials installed so we can dial in the right drug to make us feel like we want to at the time... the future is dial-a-mood, behold its fearitude... may cause certain side effects including but not limited to death and some sexual side effects.

i think the 1/2 on the glass could go away tho. just having the blue would look great.

The dial needs to be smaller and the icons bigger. Also, if the dial looked like a pill it might get the message across better.

I think you need to zoom out on the dial, I couldn't tell what it was.

I'll definately be reading this book. I find it really interesting the random influences that come to the surface through design. This one so far people have pointed out "punisher" and "...androids..." (more likely i saw parts of Blade Runner as a kid or something). Anyhow, threadless is always a fun little jog down really random back allies of my head. Thanks for the comments, keep 'em coming.

i don't know if the dial looks like a dial...i mean, without an explanation i don't know if it would have made a whole lot of sense. i suppose it's a good concept, but it could have a lot more detail

FANTASTIC idea here (notice the captitals). I agree with papersky, the dial really doesn't look like a dial, it should look like one on an egg timer. I might allow some choices as well, grey (although very fitting) is pretty bland. Good job with evrything else though!

I have to agree with surreal_blue and papersky here in that you have an awesome concept, but I'm not sure how well the dial comes off as a dial. I'd buy it though, so 5$.

I modeled the dial after the AC/heat dial on the dash of my car. I tried to make the icons look similar in design style to the little icons around the dial (stick figure with arrow in his face or on his feet) with the almost completely monocromatic colors, rounded stroke, etc. I'm not disagreeing with any of the comments, just explaining what I was going for.

I love the idea. I wish I had a dial. :) I agree that the dial itself would look better smaller, but besides that, I would most definetly buy this shirt. Very clever idea. $4

Overall, it's kind of boring. I think it's partly because it's b/w on grey. Also, The Dial kind of reminds me of a pill because of it's shape. You even referenced drugs in your first statement. I think you could have pushed that idea and actually made the dial a pill. It would have made it more profound. Also, the half on the glass is redundant.

the blue draws your eye to the glass right away, and the glass should not be the strongest element, especially because some people don't get it
