in case you weren't aware, Microsoft owns deciding shares in Apple. Bill Gates makes more money off the sale of an Apple computer than the sale of a Windows license on a PC computer.

Also, the reason that Macs don't get viruses is not because they are superior computers with better security.. it's because so few people have Macs that hackers don't bother making viruses for them.

*sigh* I agree with tracerbullet, it is time to move on. and as a computer tec. might I state the ovious and say that the speed of a P.C. vrs. the speed of a Mac depends on the capibilities of the P.C. My computer, for instance, can beat the pants off a mac anyday; simply for the fact that the technology in my computer is greater than that offerd by apple. Anyone who thinks they're better hands down must be completely ignorant to the fact that custom-built P.C.s even exist, must have never been to frys(even in a store as main-stream as frys the parts for a wonderful custom P.C. are avaible.), or must not know that you can even create your own parts to be better than what's even on the market. It's a stupid arguement usally carried on by those who have no idea what makes a better computer and most of all it comes down to taste. If you prefer a Mac, that's your deal; same with alienware or custom-built P.C.s. Really the only difference is the availibility of parts and the O.S., and you can have the Mac O.S. on a P.C. It's just a simple unix based O.S., you could even code it yourself if you were so inclined.(and really good :P ) So, please, let's end this.
