It took me a second to figure out what it was. I mean the quality is there it great job, but it would be hard to decipher from across the room.

Kiri is a spreadable cheese that comes in foil-wrapped squares. I think it's sold in Europe and the Middle East. I like it better than Picon.

I have no idea what that is, aside from the fact that it's killing itself japanese style. I think the pun of the shirt is a little too arcane for it to work, but nice drawing, I'll give you credit for that

INFORMATIONS: Well, like Greenelvish says, i thought it was sold and existed in the States too...It'as a play of words, between the Japanese word, and the "kiri" which is a white cheese sold like i drawed it in those "metal" paper (see it here: http://www.bel-group.com/image/upload/portions-kiri.jpg ). So i understand that the joke ONLY works if you know this cheese...

I had no idea what this was until I read all these comments, and though I liked it a little from the start, I'll four it now that I get it. I'd five and maybe even $ if it was easier to understand, unforetunately though I only have one friend that speaks Japanese.

The artwork is really fantastic, but I've never heard of the cheese, and if I wore this as a t-shirt I'd get tired of answering the same question that everyone here has asked.

I hope no one jumps on me if I say that MOST Americans don't know much in the way of cheese. It's a cute shirt, but I think the joke would be lost on most of the citizenry over here.
