it's not irrational hatred, the fonts sucks. It's poorly designed, the "a" is the single worst letter I have ever seen. i guess i'm one of those people d_b is talking about, but anyone with any kind of respect for typography knows how terrible that font is. we need to kill it. no joke.

Chobee I know alot about typography... I don't understand the hatred of the font from you guys. OCD maybe? sure comic sans isnt the best font for a T-shirt and it would look nicer with a different one but its not THAT bad.

It takes too long to see/ figure out. And the font is critical to understanding it, but it's too small. A tee shirt should take no longer than 2 seconds to figure out. Any longer amount of time, and everyone involved is a total dork.

Aww, Benguit Frisky was my favourite font of all time. But my computer doesn't have it and it makes me sad.
I personally dislike this design. It's just not something I would wear. I like the bear though. |

You can lose the text entirely by just showing the bear putting the socks on. Then the exchange is clear and more, I think, in the spirit of the moment.

I think it would be better without the text. Also, from a design perspective, the graphic would flow better if you simply moved the bear to the other side of the boy (the mirror chops the image in half awkwardly). It may look okay if the bear were just a little closer, too.

I think it's pretty funny and is drawn well. I so agree with dadraudt about the graphic flow (reading left to right). Also It took me a couple seconds to understand that the kid was "trying on" the tail. At first I really thought he grew a tail, which is almost as amusing. Maybe try angling the bear so you can see his missing tail, or adding a pin/tape to the shirt tip.
P.s. I am currently working on a design, in which I plan to submit. This is my first design here, and I would greatly appreciate if you took the time to critque it. |

I would wear just the bear asking to try on the socks. I don't know why; it doesn't make sense at all, it's just so... agreeable.

hrmmm... dont know why the hate on comic sans... but then again I don't know anything about typography it would seem... I think the bear should be closer to the little boy, even on the same side of the mirror with him... I do like it though.

i like the colors used. i agree with those who think the words aren't needed at all; the message gets across without them :)
