Why is your "Don't Walk" sign green?

"Why is your "Don't Walk" sign green?"

For three reasons:

The first reason is artistic, because I needed to tie the green in the aliens with something on the opposite side of the design to make it feel like a whole, and not two designs put together.

The second reason, was a subtle joke about how the green aliens arent walking..they are floating.

The third reason is because I only had 4 colors to work with and I wanted the sign to look lit up and my other colors werent bright.

Try standing with your feet like the man and kid on the illustration does!

The human figures are a little funky to me but it's not a big problem.

This is so busy; I think the two aliens could stand alone (er... float alone) as a design. It's obvious (and hilarious) that they're trying to blend in. OMG, those nose glasses make my heart sing.

They should make this a kid's tee. It'd be sold out so fast!

yeah, way too busy. just the aliens w/o the text would be a great shirt. the kid's shirt would be good, too.
also, i have to say something about the BrushScript font in all caps for the word 'RIGHT'...dude, that is totally design no-no #1. not a fan of the dishwater brown color for the background either.

I'm not at all a fan of this illustration, but i am a fan of The X-Files, and can't help giving it a 5.
