great illo. it'd be better if each sex had their own mask...the two don't work too well together compositionally as you have them. you could have played off the tragedy/comedy masks as well

They look better side by side like in the design pic. Stacked on each other like on the shirt looks awkward.
Maybe make the female's string a tad longer so it's more distinguishable from her hair. And I think the text makes it clearer, I know there are alot of people who are anti text but I think it adds to the idea.

Masks over boobies are AWESOME.

Make the strings more prominent. It takes a minute to figure out, especially if you choose to go without the text.

So the more I think about it, I agree with Grayehound's comment that each sex should have their own mask. I don't know if threadless really does that, or if they even look at these comments, but I do think the illustrations would work better on a shirt that way.

Also, I usually try to stay away from text, and this was specifically designed without words in mind, but if people think that it makes it better with the text then that's cool too. I would just make sure that the image is the most prominent thing.
