Well I intentionally tried to make the design a bit ambiguous as to what specifically was happening except that one sports player was obviously injuring the other intentionally. Now, those that follow soccer see it as Zidane the famous French player, finishing his headbutt to Materazzi of Italy.

Those that don't know the players and that may not even recognize them as soccer players still recognize that there's some poor sportsmanship going on there. I know that the talk on the actual event will fade away, but the design is abiguous enough so that remembering the event doesn't matter.



I tried to make it so that everyone, whether they're in on the "inside joke" or not still gets a chuckle from this.

Give us some italian colors for the shirts, and you have a winner.

I think you should change the text to "Don't run your mouth (if you're a big fat wuss)" to make this more accurate.



Or maybe "Poor sportmanship earns you an earth-shaking headbutt"

I would've liked it better if it showed the exact moment in time when his skull collided with Materazzi.

OOOhhh...I like it in brown!!! I think it's uber-funny, too.

However, it seems that a few people have missed the point of the design. The graphic doesn't necessarily refer to the specific incident of the Zidane headbutt as the main idea here. I think it's just a current and recognizable example of bad sportmanship...and i also believe it's supposed to be sacrcastic...very sarcastic. That's why it doesn't say "Bad Sportsmanship." Anyway, I get it and I love it.

When I first looked at this design, I thought it was funny, and I had no clue it was inspired by the world cup head butt incident since I live in a closet known as the United States. I think the sarcasm is classic, and is timeless regardless of the longevity of the world cup drama. The design is nice and the fact that the players are wearing nonspecific uniforms adds to the ambiguous nature of it all.. so blah blah, i like her ...$5!

this shirt is AMAZING! At first I thought you should make it a little more obvious as to whom it pertained, but on second thought, I like that you left it ambiguous. It is a nice inside joke if you will, for all of the footballer fans ... I was pulling for Portugal after Brazil got knocked out...

This shirt is great! I did see the infamous head butt and had to wait for the replay to make sure what I saw was real. The sarcasm is timeless and I WANT this shirt. Definate $5!
