haha.. I like this idea. more of a functional tool rather than a design/fashion statement. I was about to say that it would be perfect for the "Create Your Own Trend" contest before I realized it is already! It's not the most visually appealing but that's really not the point for this one. I think that if anything, it captures the spirit of the contest perfectly. It's YOUR OWN trend. Awesome.

How about a shirt with some geometry theorys and algebraic forumlai? Is it cheating if the notes are printed on your shirt? What would the teacher do, tell you take it off?

Squigey, yes a teacher WOULD tell you to take it off because I've seen it happen! Twice! (Those algebra shirts exist and teachers DON'T find it funny. Especially if those teachers are nuns!) All you kids out there, cheating is BAD! This shirt looks useful though. ;)

You'd probably need to lower the design so its easier to hold the tee up and read it, but that's pretty neat

I really like the idea- might suggest moving the placement a little lower, though. Where the text is currently located, the rulers are pretty much useless, aren't they?

To address the primary two concerns, I think it would be better lower on the shirt for readability, but I wasn't sure if the odd placement would turn people off the concept. I also placed the rulers vertically instead of horizontally so as not to emphasize someone's waistline. I can hold a piece of paper or block of wood vertically to measure it (I usually have to change its orientation to measure it with a ruler anyway), but I'm not sure I want my bracketed horizontal measurements on display for everyone I see.

This shirt would be as helpful as my Constellations shirt I got at the National Air and Space Museum 15 years ago. It was a glow in the dark shirt with the image of the constellations flipped so I could read it, like this measurement conversation shirt. Awesome idea. Now that I cook a lot; it would come in handy.
