Seems a little bit, I dont know, un-even with the blending at the base. Too far away with too much happening.

I really like where you were going with this, it just needs a little fine-tuning I think.

Its a pretty cool idea, but it looks like it was a tad rushed mayhaps.

This is based directly on some scenery I saw while taking a flight to San Francisco about two weeks ago, minus the arm. There was a lot of smoke coming out from between two mountains, and it looked really intense, so I drew a quick sketch of what was going on, and inked it when I got to the airport, between flights.

The arm I added in, because I tried to imagine what started the fire. I decided to keep the design really close to what the origional quick sketch looked like, I didnt want to really include any more than it has right now, because it represents that moment during my travels. Like I said, I have not really done anything like this, my stuff is usually more detailed in different ways.

Anywho thanks for the comments! Keep being honest by the way.

I think this piece wasn't meant to give out too much detail or paint. So I really don't think it needed more to it, thus I think it's perfect. There's a lot of meaning that can be interpreted from it, which makes the art very unique. I love the subtle shades of black on the hills and the use of dark red at the bottom of the hand. I actually wanna see more from this artist. It definitely has a beginning.
