oh, how cute! It's like a PG-version of Wonder Showzen, very clever! I would buy one of these for sure. A real conversation starter, I'd bet.

The concept is cute, but you probably could have separated each into it's own design (like the pirate 'R' on its own shirt, the 'I before E' on its own, etc). This looks a bit busy as it is, but the colours are bright and fun. I think this could work very well as a kids' shirt.

There's a production company called 7ate9...I think their logo is similar to this.

traceface on Jul 10 '06 I've never heard of this production company but I googled them. If you are talking about the company that can be found at 7ate9.com, their logo is a simple type 9 layered over a 7 and a camera.

Anyway, the colors are great and will definitely appeal to the 5-7 year old age range. Perhaps younger, although they probably wouldn't "get it?" Nine is definitely hurting! LOL! |

I LOVE anthromorphic letters! Have even tried my hand at them a time or two over the years. Sort of came with the territory after I got seriously involved with lettering and typography. I really like that number one who's jumping for joy after winning a prize.

I'd just space things out a bit. I like the whole "population" of letters and numbers though, I'd even be tempted to add more and make it a "crowd" shirt full of jokes you have to find. It's delightfully childish and reminds me of the sort of posters we had in kindergarten and such.

This presentation is quite original. Those other "789" designs aren't that original either seeing as the joke is as old as dirt. I'm sure it's been drawn plenty-o-ways and this one has got a certain charm. I wouldn't wear it but I love puns... 4

I really like this, but don't think it's ready yet. Someone hit the nail on the head saying there's too much going on; one pirate "R" is witty and strange enough to star on its own shirt; the cannibalistic 7 with 9, ditto. Don't give up on the idea, though, please! I want to give it a 5 next time.

I think this design is better than the other "7 ate 9" shirts in execution. Plus I lik all the other letter and number characters on one shirt, they make the design more unique.
