Great illustration! maybe on a different colored shirt like some others mentioned.
The second half of your screen name is one letter away from my real last name crazy! How'd you come up with that? Switch the first i and e and that's it. weird tangent, ha ha. Nice design!!! |

Bluebirdiesinger on Jul 15 '06 I would be glad to make the changes so it could be printed on a color shirt, probably light blue or light pink.
Didn't realize you could pick more than one color shirt though (for submissions!) I picked the white originally to highlight the black and white pen & ink illustration. ....BUT as a graphic for a person to wear, it would definitely look good on a lightly colored shirt. Simple change to make, right? And signature, ::pop!:: I will make it disappear. Thank you folks for your honest critiques, you've been really helpful. |

I am so excited that I could bring a smile to someone with my art. Funny too, it was a random idea and ink-sketch (micron pens) in my college sketchbook that only until recently had I thought ,"hey -maybe this could look good on a shirt..." You've put into exact words the spirit of this design! Typewriters are such a charming and tactile way of making letters, it can't be beat! I like how you wrote the keys are "Seussical" etc etc. The typewriter, is Alive, and is a only a small part of an ongoing concept/idea I have for a Children's book . Bluebirdiesinger on Jul 21 '06 yes yes I know people aren't into the white tee, I think a light green shirt can work, then instead of removing "DreamWriter" Altogether, perhaps make it a little smaller and in a more readable font- Also "DreamWriter" won't be as obvious in light blue on a light green tee (for those folks who don't like the text) it will fade mnore into the background letting the typewriter be forground, and perhaps it'll pop more too on the lightly colored tee.
This way the text will still be there ( for people wo DO like the text) but less obvious and apparent (for people who DONT like it.) So I believe that's the solution! :D 0 days left, keep those votes comin' along! Visit my deviantart site while you're at it: http://bluebirdie.deviantart.com |

how are these being produced? screen printed? how do you get that level of intricate detail? Four screens, micro-registration?
