No, but the bird was "murdered" by the scissors, hence the crime scene. I think it's funny!

Brilliant. Clean design, great scale, tells the story in a glance-and-a-half. Virtually every human who sees it will look, process it and smile. If not, they are either:
1. distracted by the body of the wearer, or 2. in need of med adjustment, or 3. just not that into origami, wit, or smart design. They're out there, you know... |

no, I disagree. The second bird confused me (because you can't tell his emotion- because he's a paper crane...).

Yeah, the other bird is a bit ambiguous. Maybe he could be bowing his head in sadness, or cocking it to the side in... spectatorness... or something. Overall it's very good, though.

maybe the second bird could have a little police hat. or there could be a police bird and a forensic photographer bird too.

I love the idea of the second bird wearing a little police hat. It would then be *perfect*. Great design though!

i give it a 3 since i love origami so much. and yes, it is a sin to use scissors for origami which is why it is labeled as murder in this design

Thanks everyone! (The crane on the right is a spectator. I considered making a detective bird, but the 4-color limit would have baffled me, unless I made an origami police hat.)

Wouldn't the chalk outline be broken up pieces if the "body" was found like that? Otherwise the idea is gold and deserves a 5 from me!
