Whoa, I would have to disagree. This is art, and the fact that it includes some ambiguity—which seems to be few and far between on threadless—is what makes it completely conceptual. |

its supposed to be jessica simpson. I decided to draw her because i was noticing how she seemed to be on the cover of every crappy celeb magazine all across america, and how shes inevitably going to be replaced by some other idol. She lacks in talent but people just love hearing about her and seeing her. I don't get it. I wanted to juxtapose her with something that looks "real" to me. So i decided to make the background a very humble porch with elements of poverty. By the way, I think its strange what these people are being remembered for and the persistent devotion and honor given them despite what they do.
