darn it, what are the chances that two people would adapt an apple the physiolocal occurances within the same week

Excellent idea, the only thing holding it back are the shirt colour choices.

i prefer the yellow, smart.

what if it was more, um...apple-like

Bree - I can understand where you're coming from. However, I think you may have misinterpreted the ideas behind this design.



Ancient folklore suggests that apples increase a woman's chances of conception. I've linked this idea to the womb-ilke structure in which the seeds of an apple are held. The 'children's book' look the the illustration is no accident...



Apples themselves are very representative objects and can stand for numerous things in different cultures. The one thing that remains the same throughout folklore is that they have always positive connotations.



So, erm, I wasn't really going down the cannabilistic route ;-p

I didn't mean to imply you were going for a cannibalistic message, obviously you weren't (thank goodness!), but some people may see it that way no matter how innocent you intended the message to be. That's the only reason I scored it low... because it could be taken in a bad way and I wouldn't want to personally wear a design that could be misunderstood.



Oh, and one more thing... I didn't realize this was your first submission. Nice job on a first sub, and good luck on your future designs!
