Everyone's bored at church, the devil uses a cross to kill the priest and everyone questions why anyone would want a t-shirt with this on... (I am an aetheist, btw, so it's just taste rather than anything else!)

...well...it does'nt really matter if you can read the latin or not, it's false latin (lorem ipsum-very comun among web designers, when they're making a layout and they need to fill space with text that is not the final content...you get the picture?!..) it is suposed to represent a long boring talk because it needs a scroll (very human like).On the other hand -the devil's 'intervention' by way of killing the priest using a church symbol with a simple 'cold' kick awakes the sleeping
so -called believers, who confronted with the priest's bizzare death, start questning and therefore really believing, in God's existence. You see?! Through out the human history humans only truly believe in extreme good when confronted with extreme evil. So my point is: the devil is an alarm clock set to start the moment we close our eyes and stop believing. I guess he also works for the 'Devine Boss' just like any other angel or archangel, but because his nature is evil he also makes us ''sleep'' and turns important things into boring things...blinding us from the simple -Love Each Other- truth .I guess this comment might as well be inside a scroll box and writen in false latin too...

P.S.: I don't believe in God...yet :) ! My mind keeps telling me that it's all manmade...The good the bad... everything, is our fault. What do you think? I bet this design made you think a little or did it just made you feel bored and sleepy?

And you're right that mankind brought evil upon itself. It was Eve and Adam who sinned completely by choice, and now sin is programmed into our being (which is why you never have to teach a child to do wrong, blah blah blah). Sorry if I sound preachy. >.<

Even after reading the comments, and reading that you dont believe in God, being a believer in God, i really like your explanation about the Devil turning something so important into something that sounds boring and makes you sleep. so id buy this shirt, and i really hope it wins, if it doesnt its because its controversial, but thats good. People can interpret it anyway they want.

PS. I believe that God is the creater of evolution, how bout that lol.

ok. well. i studied the shirt for a few minutes, trying to piece it all together. and then i gave up on that and started reading the comments for your own description. ive now read all of the comments. i did not understand that the people were asleep, i thought they were looking down in shame. it looks to me as though they might be at the pearly gates. the key actually confused me more. it might just be that im tired, but it also took me a few more seconds than should have to realize the devil had kicked the cross. i had no clue what he was doing. i'm not sure i like the idea behind it, and i definitely wouldnt be prepared to explain what was written across my breasts to anyone who asked. maybe if you could approach this some other way... i do like that you believe god and angels and devil all work for one... that is something i believe. i suppose that is all, because i'm supposed to be nice. yes. thank you, i guess you could say a person needs this sort of thing sometimes at ten thirty at night.

I like it because it isn't just something you "get" then turn away and forget. I could easily envision myself seeing this shirt and then staying up half the night arguing about it with a friend. #$5
