I'm with Tracer - the first thing I was doing was looking for the incorrect letter marked out somewhere, which would explain his leg. Just my first reaction to the shirt, otherwise it's just wonderful!

did you type out the words. . .it bugs me when people submit shirts that have words that are supposed to look hand written but they type. . .all the 'i's look too similar. . .write it out.

Good idea and funny draw. I would have used handwriting instead of a font (because it becames a font if it looks typed) although there was an obvious effort to make it look like it's not a font.., but it would've been easier to just write it yourself. Besides that it looks a million bucks. And I would wear it. |

I disagree about putting the incorrect letters. It would make it too busy. I love it the way it is and would totally wear it :)

First off, thanks for all the comments. Glad your enjoying it so far. :)
I had actually debated including the wrongly guessed letters and had decided against it because I thought it would take away from the simplicity. But, in reading your comments it may not have been a bad idea to include them as it would def. have taken care of the concern Wembley brought up. I would have no problem adding that on if this shirt goes all the way. Also, as far as the type goes I did try to make it a little bit more true to an actual persons handwriting by making the space between the letters varied, shifting the baseline, tilting some of the letters and redrawing them a little bit. After reading your comments though, I realize these changes are prob. still to subtle. I'll def. make each letter unique if this gets chosen. |

Ditto on the above... as far as the type goes at least u had the right intentions in taking a typeface and making it seem even more handwritten by playing w/ it a bit... once you make the letters more unique or just hand write it yourself as you said you would do in your reply comment it would def. be a $5 for me! :)

Okay there are 15 of the 26 alphabet letter in this. Most of which are repeated. Technically, it's like figuring out a 15 letter word with no doubles. And depending on your 'Hang-man" rules, you get 5-8 free letter, ending up in a part on the hang man. So your odd of getting this by default, depending on the rules; 21/26 or 24/26. That's a 80-92% chance of getting it right without even using logic. with using logic and comman english rules, it is almost impossible to fail at this game with this word.
All-in-all. $5. Just to see if people understand that it is not a good speller, but just a smart person who uses ther resources. |
