i think it needs a couple other layers superimposed... like maybe a red doubledecker bus, and some poetry? also maybe some sort of golden coloured motif would work well? just to add a bit of complexity and meaning

usually all i care about is typograpy and useless text. a design is second rate if the words dont mean anything and are hindering the art. i for one do not know why the imperative of not dropping text is there. that should go. i dont get the humor/irony/sarcasm in it.
but as for the "not cliche", that is wickedly executed |

i really like the design and the type looks great with it, but it should not say "not cliche". It's almost like your trying to legitimize your design, and if it's not cliche it should speak for itself.
