I don't think people need to know it's monkeys, it's a nice Idea on it's own and they look like monkeys, although I don't know about wise.

this is way too commercial, something I'd see in one of those overpriced overblown crap-quality stores

I like the illustration, but not the text. I think the illo is a pretty good take on the wise monkeys, but still -- the wise monkeys are already on a lot of t-shirts.
