Excellent design

I'm loving how the red outline helps put the
astronaut in the background and the
dark blue outline brings the kid into the
foreground so well. Nice nice work here.

Just a nitpick of a note : I wish the kid's
coat hanger antenna was on the right side
of his helmet. Its present location makes it
look like it is hooked on the collar of the
astronaut's suit.

You guys are right about the salute. Originally, I was going to have the kid looking into a mirror and the astronaut was his reflection, but I decided to go simpler. I guess I forgot to fix it. Sorry.

The kid can make a mistake with the salute. I like the look of it as a mirror, so I'd make it right hand astronaut/left hand kid.
The only other minor fix is the antenna on the collar.

I really like it, though.
