I think it looks better than my version...:( But this is just meant as gift to the girl that made the sketch in the first place..Because of the theme 'threadless loves threadless'. In the end what I'm saying is that I loved her skecth and the fact I could identify with the mood, though for me it would be 'work' instead of 'study'..probably..but anyway, I didn't ask if I could use the sketch and I feel it may be misinterpreted as theft of someone's artwork... I was so moved by her comment to my 'in the future this will be retro' sub that I started working and didn't think of the consequences till... now actually... So Threadless if you print it give the prize to sarah AKA ecky_duky ;)

well.:Special K:. it was my intention, when I started working on the design, to send her. But it was 5 o'clock in the morning when I finished it, and I send it to threadless almost in a sleepwalking condition. By the time I realized I didn't show it to her, that I didn't even asked if could send it to threadless as a submission, it was too late. It´s stupid I know, and I guess it's "real lame" as you say. As for the theme, to me, this time, "create your own trend" is just a subtitle because the main thing is that it's an inside 'contest' so, threadless loves threadless became more important as concept . Relax dude I do this for fun & learn, not prizes & glory ahahah. This time I did it for sarah, cross my heart and hope to die it's the truth.

let me tell you that this design is not a trace of the original sketch, it was drawn from scratch based on the sketch. I'm not saying it turned out an incredible design involving titanic efforts to be done ...but this could never just be the result of a simple trace. It's not a copy-past thing.
