I would like to see more color options. So far the orange on olive green shirt is my favorite. |

1. I would buy it!
2. The Iron Giant (or Castle in the Sky) similarity is mostly in the head, you could make the head look like something he found and fashioned into a "head" like one of those cafeteria-sized cans? with some face details on it. 3. I would like for some of his parts to look like they're made from wood, and to see some very small green details on the ground, in the grass and whatnot. 4. Good job! 5. Orange on olive/tan?. |

The story that I thought might be behind this piece goes something like this: The robot is old and broken, and some parts were used to make a small water tower. The boy has been sent up with a bucket to fetch some water. But who knows? I only draw the pictures. :) |

It was quite a revelation to see the picture up close and realize that the boy's holding a water bucket. I'd originally thought that he was dragging parts over to finish building his robot friend. But I can still pretend that his right hand is doing just that, can't I? And that the bucket is a robot part, too? Yeah, I think I will... Definitely a purchase-worthy design!

That's a great design, though I feel the orange print was more evocative, reminds me of "The Iron Giant" (a very good thing).

i LOVE this. i'm getting it, and i can't wait for it to come in. although i also thought he was carrying parts to finish the robot, i like the other story as well. and i really like the black one. it makes it seem like night, and that just seems cool to me....what ever...
