i think it is a very creative t/shirt design, love the use of the koi fish on this shirt, looks very harmonious and love the use of the orange with the brown.

It looks like a shirt from old navy or some generic location

I'm really not sure when the "cool people" decided that all vintage-look t-shirts belonged at Target.

I think this is a solid submission- the colors are good, the artwork is attractive, and the distressing looks natural on this shirt.

Only thing I'd say is that I wish it was a little busier. Still,
4.

This is my first submission to threadless.com I didnt really know if I could play around with the template so just used the standard one. I will have this in conisderation for the future and make the design stand out in the background for people to appreciate it more. Thanks for all comments, they always come in handy.

is it supposed to be a pun on koi / roi (king in french)?
... or maybe i'm just reading too much into it and don't really understand.

Koi is a fish originated in Japan during the 17th century. It was originally bred for protein supplements. Today Koi are bred in every country and considered to be the most popular fresh-water ornamental pond fish and are often referred to as being "living jewels" or "swimming flowers".

My tattoo artist would stab me for wearing this.

But I still like it.

remove the words and border, insert large version of fish!

Removing the border would make it seem less Old-Navy-ish. Also might suggest another color option aside from orange, or some fluid lines of accent color incorporated into design. Might be cool to eliminate all text and border and create the illusion of a floating lily for a koi-in-pond feel.

too small on the shirt...i think the faux worn in look is part of what makes it look oldnavyish....i just think its too easy

This fish does not look like the traditional koi... it looks more like a generic fish. I totally dig koi and would wear a shirt with one on it, but it needs to look like a koi first. I`d say retry with more colors and a more koi-y koi!!

That'd make a great design for a guitar pick.

actually the idea was that it was a drop upside down, but maybe I looked to much into it.

i would love it if it said "koi to the world" instead of "praise the koi"
