Oy, teflon182, shut up. This is constructive criticism. If no one said anything about not liking it, you'd be very confused as to why your designs wouldn't get printed. You're supposed to take what people say and go with it.
And I like it, actually. Only not on brown, I like it better on black. |

Not everyone is very "constructive" with their criticism. "Tapes suck" does nothing to really help you guide your design. Anyway, I think it's cute. Yes, you do see these things a lot on Threadless, but it's how they're executed that make the designs stand out.

Even if this motif is a bit overdone right now, I really like it. Some little kids scratched their heads at this one because they've actually never seen a casette before, and it just further proves that kids are pretty dumb. Well done!

you miss the point! no one is attacking you directly (and if they are well that's their own problem, don't worry, they will be locked up...hehehe)
It's critique and critisicm, and it most certainly is not always nice. People are fed up with the same ideas (especially with the "Threadless loves Threadless" competition going on-check it out) You have to understand not everyone knows that you are new, and that, unfortunately, some of the members on this site could learn a little respect. i like it because it makes me think of old mix tapes we all made for crushes or gf/bf when we were younger... mix CD doesn't have the same aesthetic potential...

i really like the idea, but i think it would be cooler on brighter colors. i'm sure some people like the colors the way they are now though
