Love the design, love how the swirl design has different texture and colors. but in comparison, the owl lacks detail, which is unfortunate cos the owl is the focal point.

I agree with yokekit, I think the owl is a little too plain in comparison to the border/swirls. I really like it beyond that though.

The eyes are too strong of a focal, from a distance it would be like wtf why does this person have two identical mustard stains on their shirt, and why hasn't anyone told them? The "glowing eyes" concept is lost because it's a GREEN shirt. I like the drawing though, besdies the eyes. They can look glowing without being flat.

i think the eye-dots are too grabby- they're all i notice, and i like the scrolly stuff more. but this is pretty nice- i really like the curly bits, and his little beak.
oh, i just rea the comment above me, she said the same thing about the eyes. so that proves it, i am right. |
