very nice. My only suggestion would be to make the priates pose more "dynamic". his ship is sinking and hes about to get eaten by a giant squid, and he is sorta just standing there...

but i like it!

Yeah I played around a bit with making the pirate more dynamic. But becaused I wanted it to all be one color, it wasn't always clear what exactly was going on (the sword bled into the squid, the pirate looked globby). In the end I just wanted the pirate to be clearly discernible. I suppose as it is now he's just waiting until the bow of the ship sinks a bit deeper before he starts whoopin' ass :)

That's definitely what I saw when I first looked at this shirt. It's like he's thinking, "Well, no matter what happens at this point, I'm screwed, so I'm just going to take it peacefully."
I think this is really awesome. My only criticism would be that it looks like it's too big on the shirt, but that's a minor detail.

This could have kicked ass in Pinche Uno!

Yeah using one color didn't allow me to put little details everywhere I wanted (it would look too busy, whereas with multiple colors I could have added detail with a subtler tone), so I tried to balance the illustration of the ship/squid as best I could with the water.

You may have already tried this, I did read your responses, but he could be holding the sword high above his head, but pointing down, just ABOUT to stab the squid. I'd think it would still be clear, but it might contort the body some strange way I haven't anticipated.
