Hi ! It’s my First submission on THreadless, hope you’ll like it. I’m French, so excuse my average English ;-) So, here is an allegory of the Death/Devil as you wish, where the human being see is “Soul” eaten (the head is symbolized as an egg, origin of life….well, remember alan parker “angel heart”, right?). The theme is dark, so I used only one color. Thanks for the comments!

you should have left the man at the door as a regular human. it shouldn't be his actual shadow.

Without the text I'd say. & I agree about making the guy look more normal.

I think the man is perfect as he is because from a distance he looks like a solid human figure, and it requires closer inspection to see that he resembles his shadow.

the features on a person's face.

O= eye
U= part of nose
L= mouth

thanks a lot to everybody: So, like helo and saffronscarf said, "SOUL" is the side of the face and helo paid particularly attention to that, that's exactly it! Then, yes, the man and the shadow are not exactly the same, but if you look with attention, closer, you'll see that i didn't invent the Monster forms, they are taken from the man, without cheating :-))) Thanks again, and i love this site folks!!!!!

I LIKE the fact that the figure at the door is a copy of the shadow. I think that makes it a lot more interesting.

I agree with some of the above, lose the text and the man should be a figure not a shadow, and maybe some sense of break in the shadow from foot to fo0t. It's like Tim Burton and Picasso had a bastard child. Nice work.
