That's so sad. I respect any one who can get a rise out of me using just a tee design. I feel like it'd be more effective as a poster than a tee. I'd be sad every time I wore it.

Also, I feel like you should lighten up on the shadowing. The kid looks like Groucho Marx.

If he had a needle and thread (either in use, or just sitting nearby for future use) it wouldn't be so sad. But from the title, I know sad is what you're going for... I just don't like to be bummed out by my shirts. I suppose that's kind of lame, but true. I think the art is really nicely done, and you're right, there just IS something about kids in capes. And this is a particularly nice one.

I agree with daftradio that I'd love this as a poster, but I couldn't wear it because my inner child would violently protest. Fantastic design though, it really struck a nerve with me. 5.

i think its great as a tee and design.

if you cant get over a picture of a ripped teddy bear, then life is gonna hit you hard. my dog has a ripped up teddy that we keep re-sewing.lol

the kid is looking at the bear in a reflective way instead of crying his eyes out. i like that about it.

I love the picture, and I like the meanings it has.
There's a sad feeling about it.
Because of the title, it's like the the kid is accepting the fact that some things can't be saved....
not only because his teddy bear is all ripped up, but because eventually, he'll get too old to play with it.
It's like he's holding the bear, and realizing that he's going to have to grow up and deal with real life.
I can't believe I felt all that just from this picture, but yeah.

I don't know if I'd want it on a shirt, but I love it.

this image hits close to home with me for some very personal reasons...i appreciate the image, but i could never own it, sorry...but i gave you a 5

The kid is very Akira-like. The figure looks like he is examining the toy, asif it wasn't really that important.

I've never seen a kid with such thick eyebrows before.

I love everything else.

I see it from a completely different prespective. To me it looks more like the kid is slowly and carefully pulling the bear apart.

5. PERIOD.

I get the impression that this is portraying the early stages of super-villany, like the kids going to grow up and be an ultimate bad guy.

I think it's beautiful. Could be taken as sad or evil. It's neat the way it can be considered from different points of view. Gives it depth.

I remember feeling that way as child.

The image is /amazing/, but what keeps me froms saying I'd buy it is I think the colors are terrible...that brown on that green? Hmm...

I was attempting to compliment the muted red of the cape with a less saturated green, but the color of the shirt can vary if it gets picked.

I get the feeling that the kid deliberately ripped the teddy's head off.

Either way, I like it, but as has been mentioned, look into alternative shirt colors.

First impression I got was the boy ripping his teddy's head off. I thought it was sadistic before I read the other comments that you were going for a sad thing. Anyone else agree?
