I haven't been giving many submissions 5 lately, and the ones I have have merely been because in comparison to the other submissions, it at least looks like someone put time into it... but this is seriously awesome and it's pretty hard to get a 5 from me... Distressed is better. This is a throwback to the UFO b-movies (well to me it is) so looks better as a "worn" shirt. I liked the birds until someone said they were too big in relation to the buildings and now I don't like them.

This is the first piece of truly well executed original work that I’ve seen in weeks. Everything from the use of color, the alien craft, the distressed print, and the incorporation of the birds all work together in harmony to make this a great piece. I hope that I will soon have the opportunity to buy this! $5

I am grateful for all the comments I have recieved for my first submission.

I aimed for duality in this design. The destruction of a city by a UFO is disastrous, but it is sharply contrasted by the beauty of the scene - the symmetry, hearty colors, and natural elements such as the birds.
