agree with blue_inversions. and maybe take away the black outline. the faded effect, a shadow, bubbles, change of position are all good suggestions.

Cute idea. I do agree with some figure grounding with either a shadow or upright with bubbles. Hell, even the faded treatment would be nice, I usually loathe fake fades, but it would be very fitting for this design. |

It's a cute idea better suited for kids. On adults it may have the unfortunate air of a cheap parody shirt.
I'm a bit put off by the type and the verytightleading. Makes me dizzy... |
