sorry man...this just doesn't do it for me...it is well constructed, but the idea is just kind of boring, and there is nothing really clever about it. Also, from far away, it will just look like the earth....sorry.

Yeah, I like this a lot. I didn't realize it was made up of mini-Earths at first . . . I thought it was like that color-blindness test (the one made up of colored dots) at first. Silly me.

no one proposed that the earth revolves around America. Just becuase you think Americans think their better then you doesn't mean its exatly true. This is only one side the the earth, and the artist descided to do this party, notice earth is a globe.

the way you designed this is cool, but the problem is, the end product isn't unique enough for me to want it. I have to agree, it is dull. Rework the main idea a bit so it has that extra something and it's a winner.

I like it a lot, but I would suggest taking the main focus off America, or at least add in the other continents. I'm from America, but just so there's no hard feelings, I think it would be better to include all :]

why not rotate the smaller globes to get in Europe Africa and Asia - maybe then it is less "dull" for all those who are moaning. I think its quite interesting already

this makes me think of some of M.C. Escher's drawings, a couple of which he uses to explore the concept of circular designs. He has this one where looping rows of swimming fish get periocally smaller and smaller as they get closer to the edges of the big circle, and eventually are too small to draw. Your earth doesnt have to make sense, and I think its pretty. 4

I don't understand why people are calling this boring. It's a nice design. It made me think, because at first it appeared it was a color blindness test, so it made me take a closer look.

I think I've seen a variant of the Pepsi logo that looks a lot like this.
I'm not suggesting that you've ripped it off, it's just all I can see now is that Pepsi logo which is a shame cos I like it otherwise. |

the design is well done. though i do think it could be better if you included all of the continents rotating on the little earths at least. i'm not sure if i would deffinately buy it or not. but $4.

America is not the only country there. Canada & Mexico also! That's one of the most recognized and widely used views of the globe. Quit yer bitchin' people.

nice, nice! it's an interesting design without being over-the-top.
also, since it is interesting in this way, you won't always get the "what's that on your shirt" or "lol, what's your shirt say?" bullcrap all the time. people can see it and enjoy it just for the simplicity of design. it's really quite clever. |
