I just wanted to say that it upsets me when anything to do with israel/palestine, and their conflict is quickly linked to the holocaust.

It seems the freedom to speak is limited as long as you don't mention israel, jews, and/or their relation to current conflicts in the middle east (particularly with palestine)

i really dont know what to say about this.. i had to stop and think for a bit. i'm pretty interested in this conflict and as a result of what i have learned i have a problem with Israeli as well as American policy and action in regards to this issue.

your shirt is really interesting though.. i mean, no one denies that Palestinians are angry with their occupation and of their treatment as second class citizens, as a result they ARE throwing rocks (about the only thing they have to defend themselves with against American donated Israeli tanks, etc)- the media sure does a good job at specifically showing these biased anti-palestinian images. That may make your design be interpreted as a bit of a prejudice statement. However, simply showing the wall in your shirt says a lot about Israel's role in the matter as an oppressive source of illegitimate power- and of course, you do say that palestinians rock... hahahahaha.

well- i'm going to go with : this is a somewhat sarcastic balanced view of a complicated conflict with a portrayal that is controversial- yet not without truth.

the original version had an israeli tank and sniper on top of the wall, but i didnt feel like they came out well enough in the design.

aw, bananaphone, i wish the sniper and tank could have stayed....at first glance i thought this shirt was making fun of palistinians, but then i looked at some of these comments and realized that it's better interpreted as meanMRmustard has. i like the way you've portrayed this issue, but it did take me a while to take it all in, and maybe it's just me being slow, but that's what i'm worried about...me wearing this shirt and people getting the wrong message because they only get one glance at it. i think the sniper and/or tank would've make it a little clearer, but if you can't fit them in, you just can't...even so, i think this deserves to get printed. cool design.

ok, I think this is incredibly distasteful. poeple suffering and dying isn't my idea of a good basis for a jokey t shirt.

in all the fervor over the message and politics of the shirt, people seem to be neglecting a pretty key point: the design needs some work. The little people sort of look like the Pathfinder window got really pissed off at you. So I mean, chances are, this isn't getting printed, so any argument over who will be affected by wearing it is pretty moot.

this is a great shirt, i would wear it any day. i realy don't think that this is disrespectuful in any way, it only shows how much palestinians have to struggle to fight for what they believe in. $5!!!

what an interesting shirt and conversation about a shirt. i wouldn't wear it because i'd probably piss off my friends--on both sides of the figurative wall. it's interesting what people have to say about it. it's unfair to portray one nation as violent but then they wish you had put the tank and the sniper in the design! also, if israel built a wall like 15 ft. high, it seems to me like either no israeli tanks (most of them, btw, are israeli-made, called Merkava, not american, as the experts here have erroneously blogged) or snipers are getting over, or it's far too lame a wall to make a stink over. hey, i'm as left-wing as any good Park Sloper, but last i checked, being a liberal did not preclude one from using a little seikhel (that's yiddish for kopf, brain) and telling the truth.
