About my design

by Rieoko
I could remove the text if a lot of people dislike it.

Not bad, but the black shadow is kinda distracting. The heart in the coffee works great, though.

i think i like the text.

the black shadow does take away from the image though.

Rieoko on May 30 '06
Just a note, I didn't realize i left the white background on the bottom shirt, that would be removed and I could cut back on the shadow if threadless wants it and would let me edit it a bit.

i am not a coffice kind of person

it's cool! i'd like to see it without the text to see if i like it better that way, but the design is great!

I don't like the shadow.

Is the shadow supposed to make the image look like a real human heart? Because that's what I thought.

LOVE it minus the shadow.

i had set up a still life and this is what the shadow came out to look like and we were graded on accuracy so I kind of had to include it. I left it on the shirt design because I thought it was kind of interesting, once again it could always be removed if threadless lets me do so.

Remove the shadow, it's confusing. keep the text though. I'd buy it!

the shadow between the I and the cup is really scary and confusing, but this is a great shirt otherwise

Remove the shadow Please (or adjust it so it does not inadvertantly become the focus of the design).

It's not that the black shadow is a bad idea, but moreso that it's kind of odd and misshapen.

Maybe fix up the shadow

Redo it with the spoon resting with the handle OFF the side, somehow drawing attention to the "Coffee" part of the text?

I know where you got the idea.

I read that issue of National Geographic about caffine too.

I still like it, shadow or no shadow.

It's a nice design, but I would remove the shadow. My first thought was that it was a pregnant belly. It's a little hard to decipher what it is.

those who say the shadowing is distracting, I agree. I did not even understand it until I noticed that they were shadows, otherwise, great.

National Geographic had a cover with that same image on it. Careful, i hear they are ruthless about using their ideas/photos, even in a manip.

the shadow is intimidating. and the heart looks like a hairy ass-crack to me.

sorry.

I do heart coffee, but I would be more likely to buy the shirt without the words. And I don't like the black blobby thing. Get rid of that and just have the plate, would be my advice.

Coffee/the idea is brilliant.

But like most people, the shadow just confuses me.

Black shadow is aweful, hardly resembles the cup and saucer. I can't even figure out what the bottom of the shadow is.
