I was trying to read it with English pronunciation. If you put "Escuela es juegue"...wait, no, that still wouldn't make sense.

|
gay: Bright or lively, especially in color: a gay, sunny room
the meanings of words evolve all the time. you can be a little too sensitive. saying that, i'm not keen on the shirt. |
|
this shirt isnt offensive. if i said "that's gay" even if i was referring to it's dictionary term "bright and sunny" gay people would take offense. it's a cycle of doom.

but of course since that was the whole purpose of this design. you guys take things to heart way too easily. it's a joke. i don't have mexicans nor gays seeing i have friends from both groups. |
|
But... I like school alright. It's definitely not way gay.
and I always thought people who said "That's gay" were sorta dumb, seeing as how they couldn't think of a better adjective. |
|
agreed, rubida. the english language has many adjectives which would eloquently describe anything better than 'gay.'

Mate it looks good, but if you keep submitting designs like this the site will be taken over by priests, angry teachers... and michael Jackson.

the message, implying that school is "gay" (in a negative way) and the fact that you use the word gay in the first place as a negative term. terrible. i give it a zero.

Juegue in Spanish means "to play", but that's not what we want. Read it in Spanish, but think of it in English. It's pronounced "h-way gay" with the h silently running into the sound of the w making it sound like "way gay" making it say "School is Way Gay", just in less noticable manner.
If you wear it, you'll confuse people, but once they know what it says, it'll be funny.
