it's to do with pinocchio.
its super funny with the title but without the title, it may not come across as pinocchio at all - it doesn't matter though because this still seriously rocks despite that.

Yeah, nevermind them book things! But should I really expect anyone reads fairy tales in this day and age?

I think that it is a funny idea, but that this shirt is too complicated. By which I mean that the shirt requires commentary of some kind. If you included the title of your design on the shirt itself it may fix that problem.

Also, is that really what a marronette looks like without a head/body? I believe that the body is one piece of wood and to detach it would leave nothing for the arms/legs to hold on to. Of course, changing that for the sake of style is totallyyour prerogative. :)

it only makes sense if you know what the title is. otherwise it doesn't really look like pinocchio. more like a mickey mouse puppet.

what the? I get it, but it's kind of weird (almost creepy). I don't understand why you would want a shirt with half a puppet on it, even if you understood the joke.

maybe if pinocchio's body (so that the audience would see his trademark nose) were sitting on a shelf out of his reach?
that would help the recognizability factor.
