legendary
My second submission...singing and dancing might come to mind, coordinated movements and colors.A little graphic symphony in homage to Esther Williams.

For some reason, synchronized swimmers have always creeped me out.

This is very nice and clever. I like it. I'm afraid I would never wear it but I think it is a great design. I agree with Amelia84 about the swim suits. Seems a shame when you have done so much work on the girls to leave the suits blocked.

Not sure about it being red. From a distance it looks like you've had a nasty accident!

You have successfully captured the rictus-like grin of the synchronised swimmer.

The nodules on the ankles look a little like rivets.

I think you've hit on a great idea and I agree with pihman's comments, both positive and negative.

Perhaps the black and white highlights could be reined in a little. My main criticism is the floral flourishes behind the swimmers. It's such a good concept it can absolutely stand alone without all that noise in the background that also makes the image so much larger.

You could also explore fun ways to break up the symmetry by having one swimmer react/behave differently. (But the snowflake pattern you went with really does work.)

as a synchronized swimmer of 13 years, this is awesome.

Piky piky piky.
I am a lover of barroque art.It makes me feel complex yet harmonious. I express like this. A challenge for me would be to draw simple stuff. But it wouldnt make me happy.
Keep on with the comments,I apreciate them very much.

I think the background flowery stuff adds to it a lot. Great idea!

i would buy this shirt in a heartbeat. but then, i am a sucker for water-related designs (mermaids, jellyfish, ...synchonized swimmers). i agree with pihman's and Michael Byrne's comments - but do think the background really makes it that much more intriguing and interesting.

first off, what a fantastic idea! and I'm so glad it was paired with such a wonderful background. It would have failed standing on its own.

however.
a, I'd like to see some shading on the swimsuits, like someone else said.
b, I agree about the ankle bones.
c, the waist seems to come in a bit too sharply.

otherwise... amazing shirt! I'd buy.

Very original and interesting design. Not too sure I'd wear this, but still, nice work.

I definitely agree that the swimsuits should be shaded.

cool design, but yes, those faces are a little creepy for some reason...they're like too happy or something and just staring straight at you...and the shadows on the face aren't helping...it's like a menacing Joker look.
