America loves bombs and bombing people. The government spends billions on bombs, and we are always trying to invent new ones. All I am saying is more love, less bombs. Thanks America.
all i am saying is i love america, and i hate aging liberal hippy douche's. just kidding thats from south park. but seriously.
I like a good political shirt as much as the next guy, and I'm not a fan of the war in Iraq and I am not a fan of Bush, and I like the MESSAGE of this shirt, but.....come on...
It's a clever design, but I will never care for anti-American bullshit.
Regardless, I'll give it a 3. |
well executed too. hell, I have military buddies that would love too wear that, this could be perceived as pro or con. |
I think America is a good country, but we do have a large history of war. I am glad threadless put this up, and I am glad some people like the design.
love it. simple desgin, well illustrated (especially like the varied shading on the bombs) and gets the point across quickly. it'd be bullshit if it was misrepresentative. unfortunately, it's not.
i love this, but doubt i'd buy it. we have some ultra conservatives at my school-- itd just save a lot of arguments.
i love my country, just ashamed of its government... wonderful execution |
Not every design has to have a bunch of busy images and shapes,
some usually have random and useless elements. Simplicity can be a strong quality to any design. |
I can honestly say I love this idea AND the execution of it. It's simple and clear, but creative. Great job, Nick!! I really, really hope it gets printed.
Okay, I really really like the design! REALLY! But, aren't there supposed to be 13 stripes on the flag? It looks somewhat unproportional. Maybe it's just me...
i don't like it. save politics for your blog. there are companies who make shirts specially for people who hate the president and the country they live in. i don't think Threadless is one of them.

"Patriotism is supporting your country all the time.....and your government when it deserves it" - Mark Twain.
Great fucking shirt..... |

"bleedingxinside, at 3:49pm on May 12, 2006
totally reminds me of "Dr. Strangelove OR How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb" " I love that movie. And I love this shirt. $5 |
fug'em--nick--it's a great patriotic design. If it gets printed i wouldn't buy it on a navy blue, just can't stand the color. For t's at least.
but i've got nothing against whoever designed this...you did a good job, I just don't agree with you politically...
:) |
Right on. I like it.
Design and concept. Awesome. note: I'm an idiot for thinking the bombs look like tampons. I'm sorry. |
Ahaha well I didn't quite have that in mind while designing but I can see where you're coming from. Maybe a tampon version will be submitted in the future.
by the way i love this shirt. i would totally buy it. now only if we can get threadless to print mens tees on american apparel.
ps. i agree with all the people who said it would look nice in different colors
perhaps greyscale on black .. brownish/earth tones .. maybe even a bright pink version ? :B |
