The more I actually paid attention to this shirt (like all the "Nacho Libre" naysayers obviously didn't), the more I fell in love with it.
One thing's kind of nagging my brain, though.....just a throwback from Spanish class a few years ago. I've always heard "big brother" said as "el hermano mayor," and not "el gran hermano." When you throw "gran" in front of it, doesn't it tend to give it an inherently good connotation? I doubt that's what you're really trying to rock if that's the case. But the important thing to remember is that I'm just a gringa that really liked studying. For all I know you're totally fluent and my memory of Spanish is finally starting to go. Either way, man, hell, 5$ all the way. |

I love lucha libre. I ordered this shirt as soon as I could.
I went for the first time on a visit to Juarez in March of this year, and had a total blast. Unfortunately I had to leave before I saw the title match with Son of Blue Demon! Ah well. Great work, dude. I have been looking for an awesome lucha shirt and you have provided. Gracias! |

I'm guilty, I thought this was a tribute to Nacho Libre at first. Then I looked at it again to see what it actually SAID, and I was laughing out loud, honestly. I LOVE 1984 and this is on its way to me. Thanks for making me look twice. :)
