As simple as this is, I actually like it. But maybe not centered or with such strong lines boxing it in.

If doing this' the design should have only one color so that the box wont bother so much, other than that its nice

Actually, mini dukes, I really like the boxed in feel. But removing the white would probably do wonders. Nice, 4

I like the look of the shirt as-is. I like the box. I like the white for extra contrast.

To each their own I guess.

The contrast is nice, and I really love the idea. I'd like it a ton better if the lines boxing it in weren't there. ^-^;

I don't like the shirt color with the colors of the design. Maybe a different option or two?

when i saw the far-away shots (the models wearing it) i was thinking
WOAH... because it looks so cool from far away. almost 3-d or something. its really awesome, except when you look at it too closely.

I LOVE the color but the lines are too clean. It doesn't quite flow. I like it.

dontsnatchmavrck on May 07 '06
i honestly do not like this at all. it looks like you just took a photo of some powerlines, photoshopped it, and slapped it on a t-shirt, when it has no business being on a t-shirt in the first place. they just don't go together.
Private Asylum

i would like it way better if it covered the ENTiRE shirt. like maybe it would be in the very corner and then the rest of the shirt would be the same blue as the backdrop of the picture is. i don't know, i like the illustration. 4.

Do remember that this blue is an RGB color-this color blue is impossible to print.

i dont like how the box just pops...it doesnt blend at all, looks like an iron on..

"Do remember that this blue is an RGB color-this color blue is impossible to print. "

Thanks Aj_Ream-O, that is good to know. So when I do another submission, what color options should I use that would be what threadless uses to print tees? CMYK?

thanks for helpful comments people. :)

Damn. The whole reason this shirt is so compelling is because of the intense blue...

I would where it if it was over to the right bottom and the sides faded away

not a big fan of the box, maybe make the shirt the same color as the sky...

it would look better offcenter like in the flash.
as it is, it's very "lain"
i approve.
but i also bought alex&me&harmony

i think i'd like it more if the design were on the bottom corner of the shirt as opposed to centered... and i like the sans-white idea.

good luck!

mocha_san on May 11 '06
Without the white it would be much better. I like the boxiness of it, and I am not usually one who does.

Sometimes simplicity prevails over complexity. I like the picture but when I saw the examples on the shirts (the man and women on the right,) it didn't really blend in. Ah hell it’s just too damn good for some odd reason. 5$ + Buy.

think I've seen one too many designs with power/phone lines..
if I hadn't, this would be a good design

The black is too obvious a color choice and flattens the image. In life those wires will silhouette naturally but the tone won't be the absence of color. More clearly, use a brown or deep green to translate a silhouette, it conjures more depth, reality and interest. Color is key. 3

I dig this design... Though I agree it might look neater if the entire shirt was blue.
skiboarder213
skiboarder213 on May 11 '06
i like it. maybe have the power lines coming out of the box, and turn blue so you can see them on the shirt. and also have a fade-out/paint splatter or something for the edges of the box so it blends more with the shirt.

i would totally buy that then nice job. simple yet sweet

Better if the color extended throughout the entire shirt. the simplicity is nice. $3
