clever but I think that I would like to see this a little bit more outrageous. Maybe have someone who is being hogtied by red tape with an Agent Smith standing over him holding the rest of the roll or something like that...

I like this a lot, but the red tie makes it harder to make out the roll of tape, i think. And I'm not sure whether or not I like the tape at the bottom... but I'm leaning towards liking it.

I love this! Great use of shadows and negative space, I agree with some others that if it were a black tie it would make the tape pop more, but it's not confusing at all to me. Plus it would make the beurocrats seem more boring, the red tie gives them a bit of flair. Great shirt!

Brilliant concept. I would also buy it with no text and I have one itsty bitsy suggestion: change the color on the bureaucrats tie. As it stands, it makes the roll of red tape look weirdly lumpy. Besides, bureaucrats all wear black ties. I think it's a more powerful message if only the tape is red.

Thank you everyone for your comments and kind words. Agree with many points said relating to tie colour and removal of type, am flexible on acting on these. As it stands, the red tie was chosen to differentiate the Bureaucrat as a different 'force' to that of the grey tied office worker - though this isn't necessarily crucial, and would lend more clarity to the tape roll if it was a different colour (ie grey or black). My only reason for including the type was to just hammer the idea home, but maybe on reflection it's being far too obvious about it.
