That hand looks more sinister than benevolent. A hand that's cupped, with fingers together, would look more helpful.

The hands look a bit too off. Neither roots or anatomically accurate. Puts me off. I think I like the idea though, but are you saying the city is the route/root of hope? Hmm.. 3.

There's something kind of akward about the way the roots are coming out of the trees. I think it has something to do with the fact that the edge trees and the lines of the wrist make such a straight line. Other than that, I like it :)

I really like the style and details, but I don't understand what it is saying. The hand seems somehow menacing. :/ Otherwise I'd love it to bits.
